Quay Park
Quay Park was a leasehold asset involving 35,000m² of land.
Jamie proceeded to restructure the lease arrangement with local Maori interests and then built 2 quality office buildings. This $16 million construction project was undertaken without any preleasing to tenants. Following the completion of these buildings, he then took the role of master developer on the balance of the land. This involved working with my purchasers in planning, design, finance & sale of their assets.
The overall strategy required that they built quality into the project initially in order to set a standard and ensured that others followed with further quality builds. This development
is now fully completed with total assets in the order of
$600 million.
The key to the success of the project was working with
council to create a pedestrian friendly corridor accessing the amenities available in Quay Park like the Vector Arena Stadium and the Park its self that was initially built by Robyn Sheffield. The strategy has helped deliver a quality development that
is timeless.
